Meet Bonnie
Meet Sweet Bonnie! Bonnie came into our care after living in a very stressful home. She was not treated well by the people she lived with and understandably has a hard time trusting. We sent her into a foster home, where it was quiet and she could adjust to the good life. During her time in foster she was slow to come around to trusting people. But with a lot of time, care, medication and LOVE she is starting to see the sweet side of life and showing her foster mom that all of her hard work paid off.
Bonnie may initially be a little reserved, but she’s showing a growing interest in the companionship that she is so deserving of. She is starting to seek out attention, learning to enjoy the calming comfort of physical touch and she of course loves her playtime with her foster mom, especially when paired with her favorite treats! It is very important that you are comfortable giving behavioral medication in her food. Because of her past, she is quick to react to situations she is uncomfortable in. She has swatted, scratched and bit in the past and does tend to revert back to that behavior with big changes, (like going to the vet) and if she does not get her daily medication.
Bonnie will need to go into a quiet home, with one or two adults only. She will need someone open to giving her time and space to trust but once she does she will be the most beautiful, quiet companion you could ask for. Through patient love, Bonnie will provide you with a bond that is rich, deep, and incredibly rewarding. Bonnie does not want to share her home with any other animals .
If you think you would be the perfect home for this amazing girl, and want to be a part of her transformation to becoming a happy confident cat please send an application online and we will reach out to approved applicants.
