Introducing Orwell!

Orwell is a strikingly handsome Border Collie mix with a big heart and an even bigger zest for life. This athletic, intelligent pup thrives on activity and loves to be on the move-he’s always up for a run, hike, or game of fetch in the yard. He is young and currently working on his leash manners, but is a smart boy who will catch on quickly.

Currently, Orwell is experiencing some kennel-related anxiety, so he’s looking for a patient and understanding home where he can decompress, build confidence, and feel secure. Once he’s out of the kennel and in a stable routine, his affectionate and goofy personality really shines.

He would do best with an active person(s) or family with young adults who can keep up with his energy and provide him with the mental and physical enrichment he needs. A home with a yard or regular access to outdoor spaces would be a huge bonus. Given his breed mix, it’s not surprising that he has a strong prey drive.

If you’re ready for an energetic, loyal companion with a dash of sensitivity and a whole lot of love to give, Orwell might just be your perfect match!

Our viewing/adoption hours are:
1pm-5pm Monday – Wednesday, Friday
1pm-4pm Weekends
Thursday closed to the public.
