Don’t let his size fool you-Hagrid is one of the sweetest souls you’ll ever meet. With a good nature as big as he is, this 6-year-old Anatolian Shepherd is truly a gentle giant. He’s affectionate, craves attention from his people, and absolutely adores playtime. His favorite way to kick off a game? A classic, happy play bow!

Hagrid gets along great with female dogs-his best buddy is a 7-month-old German Shepherd named Mia. He prefers not to share his space with male dogs or cats, but he has so much love to give his humans, you won’t even notice.

He’s calm, well-mannered, and walks beautifully on a leash. Hagrid also enjoys a good brushing session-it’s one of his favorite bonding moments!

Despite all his wonderful qualities, we’re scratching our heads wondering why he hasn’t found his forever home yet. Just one visit and you’ll see: Hagrid is a true treasure.

*Side note: the more you add to your application about you and what you are looking for in a companion, the better we can match animals with adopters!

1pm-5pm Monday – Wednesday, Friday
1pm-4pm Weekends
Thursday closed to the public.
