Meet Sadie!🌞

Sadie is a sweet and loving 5-year-old Presa Canario who is looking for her forever home! Sadie is a big girl with a heart full of love. She thrives on attention and affection from her people, always happy to receive pets and cuddles. Although she’s strong due to her size, she’s a gentle giant who enjoys spending quality time with her family.

Because Sadie is a larger dog, she will need a family that can comfortably manage her size and provide her with enough space to stretch out and move around. Her ideal home would have a yard where she can play and run around.

Sadie can be a bit shy when meeting new people and will need slow, careful introductions to other dogs to ensure a positive experience. She would do best in a home without young kids due to her large size and strength.

Do you think you could be Sadie’s person? Here are some ways to find out:

1.) Visit our centre to meet this pet during adoption viewings Friday to Wednesday noon to 3pm, learn more about their ideal match, and apply to adopt in person; or
2.)Submit an online application adopt.spca.bc.ca and staff will contact the first suitable adopter to set-up a visit! Kindly note that due to the high number of applications and the availability of walk-in adoptions an online applicant would have to be available to come in for a meet within 24 hrs.

*Side note: the more you add to your application about you and what you are looking for in a canine companion, the better we can match animals with adopters!
