Meet Dollar,
a sweet and loving dog who’s ready to find her forever home! She is a true people lover, always eager to give affection and enjoy the company of her humans. Once she trusts you, Dollar has boundless energy and loves to run around, jumping and frolicking like a little lamb. She may need a little time to adjust to new surroundings, but once you give her the confidence she needs, you’ll see her energy blossom.

Dollar would thrive in a home where she is the only pet. She is not used to other dogs and can be a little guarding, but she makes progress in very small steps. Who knows what the future brings.

Dollar is a true fighter. She has shown incredible resilience, even during a tough period when she struggled with a large bladder stone. Despite her discomfort, she remained sweet and cheerful. Now that she’s had surgery, Dollar is feeling so much better and is back to her happy self. She also had an ultra sound, she may have a left gastric or splenocaval shunt. Her clinical signs are mild and medical management has been elected for her rather than surgery. Dollar is on a special diet and will require ongoing medical care.

She has been doing well with house training and will happily go outside to relieve herself. However, sometimes she feels more comfortable using a pee pad nearby, and she always uses it neatly.

Dollar is a small dog who enjoys her walks, but she might even love taking naps by the heater a little bit more! A calm and quiet home would be perfect for her, where she can enjoy her daily walks and cozy up in peace.

She bonds quickly and doesn’t like being alone, but the good news is, she’s very easy to take along on outings and enjoys every adventure you have together.
She loves car rides and is content to curl up on your lap and fall asleep during the journey.
