Meet Gracie
NOTE: GRACIE IS CURRENTLY IN FOSTER AND NOT AVAILABLE FOR VIEWING AT THE SHELTER
Meet our one-eyed wonder, Gracie!
Despite having her eye surgically removed due to a dog attack, she has not lost her zest for life. Gracie loves to cuddle up with her people and adores making new friends! A work-from-home, or retired lifestyle is preferred as Gracie struggles with separation anxiety. She would also do best as the only dog in the home.
Gracie is still needing a spay and a dental. Because of this, we are looking for LOCAL ADOPTERS ONLY (Victoria/Saanich, Sydney, Mill Bay, etc.) so that she can get the care she needs to live her best life. Due to her age, Gracie may require vet care more frequently. It’s important to us that her forever home be ready (and able) to support her when needed.
If you’re looking for a little lady with lots of spunk and love to give, Gracie might be the dog for you!
Thank you for your interest in adopting! Do you think you could be Gracie’s person? Apply today!
TIP: We encourage all applicants to write a little bit about themselves when prompted. Leaving these questions empty inhibits our ability to make the best match possible and effects the likelihood of receiving a call back.
Due to the high number of applications, we will ONLY be following-up with the chosen adopter. If you do not hear back within a week, it’s likely the animal has already found a forever home. Phone inquires and emails regarding the status of your application cannot always be prioritized.
Animals cannot be held for potential adopters for more than 24 hours without a legitimate reason.
