Meet Nitro, a friendly, sweet ebony feline who’s looking for his fur-ever home! Nitro came to us with a large, open wound on his neck from another cat attacking him. Nitro has made a great recovery and is back to his cuddly, loving self. He’s got a sweet, initially shy, temperament and enjoys being around people once he’s comfortable, always ready for a pet or a cuddle. He can be a bit nervous at first, in a new environment so an adopter will need to be prepared to give him time to adjust and he likely would do best in a bit of a quieter home, without young children and needs to be an INDOOR ONLY cat. He will make a wonderful, loving companion to the right home.
While in care Nitro has been diagnosed with possible allergies and it is recommended that he be on a special diet to hopefully prevent issues from these allergies, such as dermatitis or granulomas, in the future. Potential adopters can ask SPCA staff for more information.
