Meet Cloud!

This handsome man came to us after unfortunately living outdoors on his own for quite some time and wasn’t in very good shape. His fur was severely matted and he had a burst abscess on his shoulder that required medical attention. We took him to the vet to get him cleaned up and checked out, then a few days later he was neutered and received a lion’s cut to relieve the painful mats.

Cloud is feeling much better now and is ready to find his furever home! He can be quite shy with new people but he does warm up. Hands are a bit scary to Cloud and since he wasn’t receiving regular attention he is unsure of how to handle affection and can get quite overstimulated. He will need a cat-savvy owner who has experience with under-socialized cats and knows the signs of overstimulation as well as frustration. Other than that, he is a very sweet boy and will roll around happily while purring away. Unfortunately Cloud does not get along with other animals so he is looking for a home where he will be the star of the show. He is hoping to find a home where he can have some outdoor time as that is what he is used to, a big property or a catio would be amazing! Cloud does have a very luxurious coat when it isn’t shaved and will require regular brushing, which we are slowly introducing to him so he can get comfortable with it.
