Meet Clove! Clove is a 3 month old German Shepherd/Cane Corso mix, searching for his forever home.
Clove is a lively and energetic pup who is always ready for an adventure! With a playful spirit and boundless enthusiasm, Clove is the perfect companion for an active family looking to add a burst of joy and excitement to their lives. This spirited little pup loves to run, jump, and explore, and he is eager to learn new tricks and games. Clove is at the age where training and routine are critical, so he needs the consistency, patience and love of his new guardian to show him the ways of developing into a mature and fulfilled adult dog. Adopters are encouraged to attend puppy obedience classes, but the basics are a must – leash training, socializing with people and other dogs, and, of course, house training.
Clove won’t be a puppy forever, and as he grows, there are some important things to keep in mind about his breed. Clove is presumed to be a German Shepherd/Cane Corso mix, however we cannot guarantee this is 100% accurate without a DNA test.
Both breeds in this mix are large dogs, and a potential adopter should be prepared for him to grow quite large. Shepherds are very intelligent dogs that require a lot of training, stimulation, and exercise. Both Shepherds and Corsos bond deeply with their family, and can be standoffish when meeting strangers. Socializing with both people and other dogs will be very valuable in his development.
