Meet Chase! Chase is a three year old German Shepherd that was brought into the shelter as a stray, so little is known about his past.

This lively, charismatic guy is ready to have a human to spoil with affection. He knows his basic commands well, and walks well with a harness. He has a tendency to get quite excited, which results in a bit of jumping and pulling while out on walks. With the proper training techniques and a calm environment that offers more stimulation, we’re sure he’ll continue to improve.

German shepherds are protective, loyal companions. Bred with a strong work ethic, they are among the most popular dog breed thanks in large part to their ability to be great family dogs. They love “their people” but can be cautious around strangers or newcomers and thrive on the care and attention of their family.

Chase is looking for a strong, patient, and committed owner that is able to provide the necessary training, mental and physical stimulation, and unconditional love and affection he so deserves!

Chase is dealing with some possible health issues and may need to be kept on a special diet and/or medication to manage some symptoms. We still have some things to rule out so to be sure, Chase is currently available for Foster-To-Adopt until he is medically cleared.
