Meet the Count!

Count von Count is as mysterious as his name suggests. Besides being hard to photograph, he tends to watch the action of our cat room from high up upon his pedestal. He lurks at night, and gently laps up his food like a true distinguished figure. However, he’s not all serious.

Count is also fond of brushings and pets, and will roll and bonk your hands for more. He has also been caught wrestling with the kittens in the group, and letting them win. He’s a fiend for tube treats, and can be a little messy when eating them, which does tarnish his mysterious aura.

This gentleman is looking for a home where he can enjoy the finer things, but also let his walls down and be a big kitten again. He seems fond of having a friend around, so a home with an existing cat would do well for him.

Count Von Count is getting neutered Friday March 21st at King George Veterinary Hospital, therefore he will be adopted out as “Foster to Adopt” until his neuter is completed. Potential adopters must be able to take Count to his appointment.

For adoption applications:

1. Submit an online application and staff will contact the first suitable adopter to set-up a visit. Kindly note that due to the high number of applications, we will only be contacting suitable potential adopters to further review their interest.

2. Visit the Surrey BC SPCA at 16748 50 Ave, to meet Count and learn more about their ideal match and apply to adopt in person.

If you are invited to meet Count please come prepared with a cat carrier as we do same-day adoptions if the meet goes well. We recommend being prepared with a litter bin, litter, food and water dishes, and toys before bringing your new family member home.
