Meet Jerry

Add to favourites

Burnaby welcomes the fab four! These 3 month old puppies travelled from Quesnel in hopes of finding homes in a quieter area of the lower mainland. They had a rough start, but are in good hands now and on their way to a healthier future. Having arrived very emaciated, it’s important these wee ones remain on a re-feeding schedule to ensure they gain the proper weight. They are friendly, playful and on occasion vocal. They play well with each other except at feeding times, where they can squabble. This behaviour makes sense considering their past circumstances. They require owners that do not leave them alone unattended as they will even garbage surf, eat stuffies and rocks/sticks found in the yard.
They would do OK with another dog in the household providing their guardian is mindful around feeding times. Housebreaking will also be a work in progress. We also recommend ongoing socialization to introduce them to new sights, sounds and smells of the city. Raising a puppy can be changeling and rewarding at the same time.

Do you have the time and patient to adopt one of these puppies?
