Meet Ginnie
Ginnie is a sweet, goofy dog with a big personality. She’s always up for a game-fetch is her specialty, but she’s happy to play whatever you’re into. She also enjoys being involved in whatever you’re doing, especially if it involves laundry (and lots of interesting smells).
While Ginnie can be unsure around new people, particularly men, once she feels safe, she becomes incredibly affectionate. She loves attention and isn’t shy about asking for belly rubs. She will make a completely ungraceful, full-body belly flop right on top of you, all in pursuit of the perfect belly rub. And she makes no apologies for it.
Ginnie is looking to be the star of the show in her home, meaning she needs to be the only pet in the household. While she’s made great strides in learning to ignore other dogs on walks, she can still be reactive in certain situations. Her future family will need to be ready to continue supporting her with positive reinforcement, love, and patience, not only for her reactivity, but also for her fear of strangers.
We don’t know much about Ginnie’s background, she came to us as a stray, but we do know she’s tidy, smart, and eager to bond with someone she trusts. She makes us laugh every day and is one of those dogs who really connects with her people once she lets you in.
If you’re looking for a loyal companion who will bring a lot of love and personality into your life, come meet Ginnie. She’s ready to find her person.
