Meet Tex:
Tex has been through a lot in his short life and now it’s time for stability and love. Tex is intimidated by busy environments and quick movements but in a calm home, he’ll quickly realize that he has the love and security he craves.
Tex loves playing fetch and this smart boy is learning his basic commands. His current training involves positive reinforcement and food rewards,and this gentle approach is proving to be perfect for him! He loves running around our exercise yard but when it comes to cuddle time, Tex is a master. He’s the best of both worlds!
Tex has lived in a home with other dogs, but we’ve noticed that he can be selective when it comes to his canine friends. An ideal home for Tex would be a calm, adult-only home that will continue his training and provide him with fun, active experiences outdoors. If you’re looking for a go-for-miles, snuggle buddy and can help him continue his journey of trust, please apply to meet Tex today!

*Fees vary by location and are subject to change without notice. Adoption fees are subject to PST (Provincial Sales Tax), which will be added at the time of adoption.
All BC SPCA cat/kitten/dog/puppy/rabbit adoptions include a microchip and lifetime registration with the BC Pet Registry.
Registration for lifetime protection is $45 for cats/kittens/dogs/puppies and $11.25 for rabbits, which will be added to the adoption fee. For more information please visit bcpetregistry.ca
