Meet Ricky, a sweet and playful girl looking for her forever home! While she can be a little shy around new people, once she bonds with you, her affectionate personality truly shines. Ricky is a German Shepherd mix, likely with a sight-hound, which gives her a tall, lanky build and strong prey drive. She’s an active pup who loves to run, play, and explore, so she’ll need an energetic family who can keep up!

Currently working on her basic manners, Ricky is a quick learner who loves treats, making training a breeze. She’s improving on her leash manners and knows how to sit! While she’s excitable and may jump up when meeting new people, she’ll thrive in a calm environment that encourages positive behaviour. She’s playful and loves to wrestle, so a home with older children would be best.

**Ricky is getting spayed on February 12th on the North Shore, for this reason we are prioritizing local adopters of the lower mainland willing to drive back for her appointment (full cost covered by BC SPCA).
