Meet Sam

Add to favourites

Meet Sam, a sweet senior looking for her perfect retirement home!

Sam is as gentle as can be, and loves to go for strolls with her people. She even walks on a perfect loose leash.

Sam can be a bit sensitive to touch in certain spots given some medical issues, that are currently being resolved. Sam also struggles from separation anxiety, so her perfect home would be one where she can usually be around her humans.

Thank you for your interest in adopting! Do you think you could be Sam’s person? Apply today!

TIP: We encourage all applicants to write a little bit about themselves when prompted. Leaving these questions empty inhibits our ability to make the best match possible, and drastically effects the likelihood of receiving a call back.

Dog Pre-Adoption Questionnaire

The Victoria Center is open for in-person adoption viewings Tuesday through Sunday, 12pm to 4pm, staff and animal well-being permitting!

Some animals may not be viewable due to limited shelter space, medical and behavioral reasons, or other contributing factors. Kitten and puppy meet and greets are by application only.

Due to the high number of applications, we will ONLY be following-up with the chosen adopter. If you do not hear back within a week, it’s likely the animal has already found a forever home. Phone inquires and emails regarding the status of your application cannot always be prioritized.

Animals cannot be held for potential adopters for more than 24 hours without a legitimate reason.
