Meet Missy
Meet Missy!
Missy is a social butterfly who loves to meet new people and is always ready for an adventure. This outgoing and high-energy girl would make a wonderful addition to an active family that’s ready to help her refine her good manners.
Missy is still learning leash skills and can be a strong puller, so she’ll need a patient guardian who can continue her training with positive reinforcement. She’s also a bit jumpy and could potentially knock someone over in her excitement. While she’s curious about other dogs, her high energy level can sometimes be overwhelming for canine companions, so she may do best as the only dog in the home or with a well-matched, equally playful pup.
Missy thrives on activity and would love a family who enjoys outdoor adventures, playtime, and plenty of mental stimulation. With the right guidance and lots of love, Missy is sure to shine as a loyal and loving family member.
Next Steps: If Missy sounds like your perfect match, our staff will be happy to schedule a meet-and-greet after an online application is submitted. Let’s help Missy find her forever family and the happy home she deserves!
Thank you for your interest in adopting! Do you think you could be Missy’s person? Apply today!
TIP: We encourage all applicants to write a little bit about themselves when prompted. Leaving these questions empty inhibits our ability to make the best match possible, and drastically effects the likelihood of receiving a call back.
The Victoria Center is open for in-person adoption viewings Tuesday through Sunday, 12pm to 4pm, staff and animal well-being permitting!
Some animals may not be viewable due to limited shelter space, medical and behavioral reasons, or other contributing factors. Kitten and puppy meet and greets are by application only.
Due to the high number of applications, we will ONLY be following-up with the chosen adopter. If you do not hear back within a week, it’s likely the animal has already found a forever home. Phone inquires and emails regarding the status of your application cannot always be prioritized.
Animals cannot be held for potential adopters for more than 24 hours without a legitimate reason.
