Meet Penny
Meet Penny,
Penny is a 12 week old Cane Corso. As a large breed, she’ll need space to grow and thrive, so a home with room for a bigger dog is ideal. Experience with training is also recommended as Cane Corsos are strong, intelligent and eager to learn. She’s incredibly social and loves spending time with staff and volunteers, always ready for a play session with her toys or her brother. She’s also a huge cuddler, enjoying cozy beds and the comfort of falling asleep in staff’s laps. This playful, affectionate pup will make a loyal companion with the right environment and guidance.
Note: As with all puppies, we recommend puppy-proofing your home and preparing for the commitment of training, exercise, and socialization. The more time and effort you put into training now will pay off tenfold when they grow into a giant slobbery member of your family. Remember, adoption is a big decision and lifetime commitment to the dog – these pups will grow into big, strong dogs and will need a family that’s ready for the adventure!
These pups are not yet spayed or neutered (S/N). Their appointments for S/N’s will be in the coming weeks. In the meantime, they are eligible to go into homes as “foster-to-adopts” and can be fully adopted after their S/N.
Thank you for your interest in adopting! Do you think you could be Penny’s person? Apply today!
TIP: We strongly suggest all applicants to write a little bit about themselves when prompted.
The Victoria Center is open for in-person adoption viewings Tuesday through Sunday, 12pm to 4pm, staff and animal well-being permitting.
Some animals may not be available for public viewing due to limited shelter space, medical and behavioral reasons, or other contributing factors.
Due to the high number of applications, we will only be contacting select individuals to further review their interest. If you do not hear back from us, it is possible that this animal has already found a forever home. You can always call or email to inquire about your application further and our staff will do our best to get back to you when time allows.
Animals cannot be held for potential adopters for more than 24 hours without a legitimate reason
