Meet Gizmo, a sweet and reserved short-haired Syrian hamster looking for his forever home.
As a larger hamster, Gizmo needs a spacious, secure tank with deep bedding for burrowing and exploration. He’ll also need a wheel that’s large enough to keep his back straight while running – 12 inches is ideal for Syrians! While adventurous, this breed can get bored quickly, so Gizmo will need plenty of enriching toys, fun activities, and daily human interaction to stay happy and entertained.
To begin the adoption process for our small animals, please fill out the pre-adoption questionnaire below. Be as detailed as possible, and keep in mind that an enclosure photo will be required after we receive your form submission. *Fees vary by location and are subject to change without notice. Adoption fees are subject to PST (Provincial Sales Tax), which will be added at the time of adoption.
All BC SPCA cat/kitten/dog/puppy/rabbit adoptions include a microchip and lifetime registration with the BC Pet Registry.
Registration for lifetime protection is $45 for cats/kittens/dogs/puppies and $11.25 for rabbits, which will be added to the adoption fee. For more information please visit bcpetregistry.ca
