Meet Maya!

Maya is a sweet and energetic girl looking for her forever home. She came into our care after her previous owners could no longer care for her and is now ready to start a new chapter with a family who will include her in all their adventures. Maya thrives on companionship and will need adopters who can be with her most of the day, as she experiences separation anxiety. She can be jumpy when she’s excited, so adopters who can handle her enthusiasm would be the best match. Maya prefers to be the center of attention so a home without other animals is important.

This playful pup loves staying active and is happiest when tagging along for any activities. She especially enjoys playing with a frisbee and would make a fantastic adventure buddy for a family that can match her energy and love for fun. If you’re looking for a loyal companion to share your life with, Maya might be the perfect match! 💖🐾

Do you think you could be Maya’s person? Here’s how to meet her:

1.) Visit our centre to meet this pet during adoption viewings Friday to Wednesday noon to 3pm, learn more about their ideal match, and apply to adopt in person; or

2.) Submit an online application adopt.spca.bc.ca and staff will contact the first suitable adopter to set-up a visit! Kindly note that due to the high number of applications and the availability of walk-in adoptions an online applicant would have to be available to come in for a meet within 24 hrs.
