Meet Bogart!

Bogart is a sweet old man, but you’d never guess his age based on his gusto and lust for life! He’s a senior dog who loves all the people he has met on his adventures. Found as a stray, Bogart has been on unknown journeys alone prior to coming into care.

Bogart remains as affectionate as ever. He loves snuggling with humans, rubbing against them like a cat, and enjoying his favorite toys and fishy treats. He’s potty trained and his previous foster reported that he loves to lay around the house and relax together. Bogart loves company and is looking for someone that has a lot of time to be home with him. He also loves to get outdoors and get his steps in – this is important, because he is working on his fitness journey. He has been on a bit of a diet and wants to ensure his new guardian is just as committed as him to staying healthy and active.

Bogart may not prefer the company of younger or smaller dogs, and finds small animals such as cats to be pesky! He would thrive as the only pet in a home where he can enjoy his own walks, hikes, and lots of attention. Bogart is so great with people, he would be suitable to a human family of all ages.
