Hi there! My name is Hammington, and I’m a lively, curious little gerbil looking for a loving forever home. I may be small, but I have big heart and plenty of personality to share with the right person.

As a gerbil I love LOVE digging tunnels, chewing on safe wooden toys, and keeping busy with fun enrichment activities. Gerbils are typically social animals, but sometimes circumstances occur that result in gerbils living solo lives. As a currently, solo gerbil I will need plenty of attention and enrichment.

Taking care of a gerbil is a fun and rewarding experience, but it is important to meet my unique needs. I require a spacious habitat- luckily, when I was surrendered I came in with a pretty nifty set up that would come with me. Gerbils require deep bedding, because we are impressive burrowers. I love to dig, sculpt and design my own tunnels.

I love observing the world around me, but I need a calm and patient approach to handling. I was handled in my previous home- but will require some trust building with my new forever family!
