Meet Mitzi!

This gorgeous older lady is quite shy and quiet but full of personality. Mitzi was surrendered to us when her owner couldn’t care for her anymore. She loves treats and has taken to coming out and greeting us during our daily rounds. She is also the queen of head boops! Mitzi would be happiest being the only feline in the home, but she wouldn’t mind sharing her home with a dog who respects her boundaries.

Mitzi is a spirited feline with a strong personality and an independent streak. She’s the perfect mix of sweet and sassy! When Mitzi is in the mood for affection, she’ll grace you with her company, leaning in for head scritches and curling up beside you. But when she’s done, she’ll let you know in no uncertain terms-it’s part of her charm!

Mitzi is looking for a home that respects her boundaries and gives her space when she needs it. She would thrive in a quieter environment where her humans understand that love on her terms is the best kind of love.

Mitzi was recently diagnosed with some mild allergies, and since being started on a special diet for her allergies has been so much happier and outgoing! Mitzi might also require steroid treatment for her allergies as well. Future adopters will need to be prepared to continue her on her prescribed diet so can remain happy and healthy for many years to come!
