Meet Hershey

Add to favourites

Meet Hershey, an adorable Coonhound/Husky mix! Initially nervous when experiencing new things and meeting new people, Hershey’s natural curiosity quickly takes over, and she warms up fast. This sweet girl has lots of energy and is looking for an active family to take her on outdoor adventures. She loves her favourite people and enjoys their personal space for cuddles and gives them lots of kisses.

Hershey is a smart pup who thrives with mental stimulation, so ongoing training is highly recommended. Training not only keeps her mind engaged but is also a wonderful way to strengthen your bond. She would benefit from a home with a securely fenced yard where she can safely play and explore. Hershey may also do well in a home with another dog, provided a proper introduction is made to ensure compatibility.

If you’re looking for a sweet, energetic companion eager to explore the world with you, Hershey could be the perfect addition to your family. đź’™

Do you think you could be Hershey’s person? Here’s how to meet her:

1.) Visit our centre to meet this pet during adoption viewings Friday to Wednesday noon to 3pm, learn more about their ideal match, and apply to adopt in person; or

2.) Submit an online application adopt.spca.bc.ca and staff will contact the first suitable adopter to set-up a visit! Kindly note that due to the high number of applications and the availability of walk-in adoptions an online applicant would have to be available to come in for a meet within 24 hrs.
