Meet Moe

Add to favourites

Moe is a sweet, resilient boy who’s come a long way on his journey to recovery. He arrived in our care after a skin infection, which stemmed from a flea infestation. Due to his intense reaction, Moe is suspected to have a flea allergy and will need to stay on regular flea prevention to stay comfortable and healthy. He would thrive as an indoor-only cat, which would also help minimize exposure to parasites.

While Moe is now parasite-free, he still occasionally scratches at his skin and requires a bit more monitoring than your average feline. He’s currently on a special diet to help manage his skin sensitivities. For this reason, we’re looking for an adopter who can provide him with a bit of extra attention. Our team will happily walk through his care needs to ensure you’re set up for success.

Now that he’s feeling better, Moe has blossomed into a cuddly, affectionate companion. He’s quite the chatterbox when he wants attention, and loves curling up for cozy snuggles. One of his favorite pastimes is lounging in our catio, soaking up the sunshine and playfully watching ants.

Moe may also benefit from the companionship of a mellow, female cat, as he’s shown interest in a few of our female shelter cats. We believe Moe would be happiest in a home without dogs or small children, where he can feel safe and relaxed.

If you’re looking for a loyal friend who’s overcome a tough start and is ready to love and be loved, Moe might just be your perfect match!
