Meet Gage!

Gage had dreams of being the bestest hunting dog but sadly his guardian could no longer provide Gage the environment he needed. This gorgeous hound is true to type, he’s passionate about exploring every scent, serenading nature with his unique voice, and enjoying all the treats he can get!

Unsurprisingly, Gage has a strong instinct to chase small animals and livestock and pulls on leash wherever his nose takes him. Gage was raised outside with lots of outdoor experiences, so leash walks, and house manners are skills he’s actively learning. Despite his love of the outdoors, he’s a dedicated snuggler who loves every person he meets.

He can be selective when it comes to new canine friends butmay be a loyal friend to another canine companion with a slow introduction. The perfect home for Gage will provide for plenty of outside time and loooong sniffs in the woods. Did we mention his Hound Howl? Gage has food allergies which are well controlled with his special diet and his favorite treats. This sweet, floopy eared guy has his nose to the ground for his perfect person…is that you?
