Meet Geronimo
Geronimoooo! We have so many great things to say about this cuddle bug we can barely fit it into one little blurb!
This handsome boy, affectionately known as Gerry, Gerr-Bear and Mo, is a delightful goofball looking for his forever home!
Originally found running loose outside a grocery store, poor Gerry had open bite wounds on his leg and face from being attacked by a dog or coyote. Despite his tough start, he’s transformed into a loving companion with an unquenchable thirst for belly rubs and cuddles. Geronimo is happiest with his favourite people around, if he could be glued to your side, that would be his choice!
One of our absolute favourite things about Gerry is his love of toys. This man LOVES stuffed animals, and each morning will joyfully prance around showing staff each of his favourite toys. He’s a perfect combination of lazy couch potato, and active outdoor adventurer. He can often be found cuddled up with staff in our lunch room on the couch.
As a strong boy, Gerry will benefit from some leash training to help him learn proper walking etiquette. His excitement often leads to enthusiastic jumping, so be prepared for some joyful greetings! And since he can leap impressively high, he should not be left alone in a yard as he will likely find a way out!
Gerry has shown some positive interactions with other dogs and could thrive with a canine friends, but would be best suited as the only dog in the home – especially after being recently attacked. Gerry is fully house-trained and would love a house with yard access to run and play.
