Meet Moonpie!

Moonpie is a striking, larger-than-life kitty with a heart just as big as his paws! This handsome guy is looking for a special home with someone who will truly understand and appreciate him for the wonderful, complex cat he is.

Moonpie enjoys playtime and affection but also knows when he needs a little space. His ideal home is with a calm, observant person who understands cat body language and will respect his cues. Moonpie is also incredibly social. He loves being around people and will happily curl up nearby during a lively dinner party or a cozy movie night.

Moonpie is on a urinary + hypo diet to manage urinary crystals + IBD and will need to stay on it for life.

If you’re patient, understanding, and looking for a truly special companion, Moonpie could be your perfect match!

Do you think you could be Moonpie’s person? Here are some ways to find out:

1.) Visit our Centre to meet this pet during adoption viewings Friday to Tuesday noon to 3pm, learn more about their ideal match, and apply to adopt in person; or

2.) Submit an online application adopt.spca.bc.ca and staff will contact the first suitable adopter to set-up a visit!

Kindly note that due to the high number of applications and the availability of walk-in adoptions an online applicant would have to be available to come in for a meet within 24 hrs.
