Meet Adele!

Adele came to us with her litter of newborn kittens. She was understandably very fearful and protective of her babies. After a few days, she settled in knowing her little family was safe, and soon became very accepting of us handling her kittens.

Adele’s kids grew so fast and have all been adopted, leaving Adele on her own in the shelter. She is still quite shy, but with the help of anti-anxiety medication and regular human interaction Adel is starting to blossom.

Adele would do best in a quiet home, with no small children or dogs. Her new pawrent should be cat savvy with enough patience to allow Adele to adjust to her new home in her own time.

Visit our Centre to meet this pet during adoption viewings Friday to Tuesday noon to 3pm, learn more about their ideal match, and apply to adopt in person; or
Submit an online application adopt.spca.bc.ca and staff will contact the first suitable adopter to set-up a visit!

Kindly note that due to the high number of applications and the availability of walk-in adoptions an online applicant would have to be available to come in for a meet within 24 hrs.
