Meet Odie
Meet Odie!
Odie is a sweet and energetic boy looking for his forever home! He adores meeting new human friends and thrives on companionship. He has separation anxiety, so a family that can be with him for most of the day is essential. Odie has a zest for life and would love to join you on your outdoor adventures.
Odie has lots of energy which sometimes makes him jumpy. With that said, he would do best in a home without children. He would benefit from additional training to channel his energy and brush up on his manners. Activities such as nose work would be highly beneficial to keep his active mind stimulated.
Odie can be reactive to other large dogs and would do best as the only dog in the home. Continued training to help manage his reactivity on walks will be important in his new home. Although with slow and proper introductions, Odie may be able to make friends with other small breed dogs. If you’re ready to give Odie the love, structure, and exercise he needs, he can’t wait to meet you! 💙🐾
Do you think you could be Odie’s person? Here are some ways to find out:
1.) Visit our centre to meet this pet during adoption viewings Friday to Wednesday noon to 3pm, learn more about their ideal match, and apply to adopt in person; or
2.) Submit an online application adopt.spca.bc.ca and staff will contact the first suitable adopter to set-up a visit! Kindly note that due to the high number of applications and the availability of walk-in adoptions an online applicant would have to be available to come in for a meet within 24 hrs.
