Meet Henry!

Henry is a sweet and resilient boy who has been through a lot, but his heart is as big as ever. He’s friendly, affectionate, and loves the company of both people and other dogs. A true cuddle bug, he’s always happy to snuggle up but isn’t shy about asking for attention-he’ll nudge and paw at you when he wants more pets!

Henry is a strong boy who sometimes forgets his size and will need continued training to help him with his manners. He has a high prey drive, so he’ll do best in a home that understands his energy and instincts. Despite this, his gentle giant nature shines through, and he’s great with kids. He’s playful, full of life, and always up for an adventure, whether it’s meeting new people or simply enjoying time with his family.

Recently, Henry underwent Tibial plateau leveling osteotomy (TPLO) surgery and is recovering well, but he’ll need a dedicated adopter to continue his recovery plan to ensure he heals properly. He’s currently thriving in his foster home alongside other dogs and would do well in a household where he gets the love, care, and comfort he deserves.

Submit an online application adopt.spca.bc.ca and staff will contact the first suitable adopter to set-up a visit! Kindly note that due to the high number of applications and the availability of walk-in adoptions an online applicant would have to be available to come in for a meet within 24 hrs.
