Meet Henry
Meet Henry!
Henry is a gentle giant with a heart full of love. Though a little shy at first, he’s incredibly sweet and always eager to be a part of whatever you’re doing. Henry is a needy boy that may demand your attention at times, he will nudge and paw at you when he wants more pets. His dream family would allow him to be the center of attention. He’s on a journey to gain confidence and adjust to new environments, so he’s looking for a patient and calm home that can help him along the way.
Henry also enjoys spending time outdoors, so a home where he can have some outdoor time during the day would be ideal for him. He came into our care with a knee injury and is awaiting TPLO surgery, needing a peaceful place to recover and a loving family to support him through this process. During his time with us, Henry formed a strong bond with another dog, Heidi, who is also awaiting orthopedic surgery. They would love to find a home together, but if that’s not possible, Henry would do well with a calm canine friend, given a proper introduction.
If you’re ready to help Henry grow into his most confident self, provide a quiet space for recovery, and maybe even welcome his best friend Heidi, he’s waiting for you! ❤️🩹
