Introducing Solstice!

Solstice is a stunning Bengal cat with a heart full of affection and a love for cuddles. With her striking coat and gentle demeanor, she is the epitome of elegance and warmth. Solstice adores snuggling up and will happily curl up next to you for those cozy, purring moments that make every day a little brighter.

Her playful and loving nature means she thrives on human interaction and enjoys being involved in your daily activities. Whether you’re relaxing on the couch or enjoying a quiet evening, Solstice will be by your side, offering companionship and a gentle purr.

If you are not familiar with Bengals, and are considering adopting, please do a bit of research. They are a very active and vocal breed, so be prepared for kitty shenanigans! Although Bengals are very adventurous and avid explorers, we are seeking homes that will keep Solstice indoors-only. Strategically placed bird feeders and pollinator plants can help bring a little bit of the outdoors inside. We also encourage leash-training and/or building a catio!

We anticipate a high number of applications for Solstice. To ensure she finds the perfect home, we kindly ask potential adopters to highlight any experience or education they have with their breed. Visit the BC SPCA Victoria Center to potentially view this pet and apply to adopt in person; OR

Submit an online application and staff will contact the first suitable adopter to set-up a visit.

Due to the high number of applications, we will only be contacting potential matches to further review their interest. If you have any questions about an animal, please send us an email in lieu of calling. Our phone lines are extremely busy and we are not always able to answer every inquiry.

PLEASE NOTE that some animals may not be available for public viewing due to limited shelter space, medical and behavioral reasons, or other contributing factors. Kittens are not available for viewing as they are often in foster homes for health & safety reasons. We strongly recommend interested parties submit an application using the above the link to arrange a potential meet and greet.

The Victoria Center is open for in-person adoption viewings Tuesday through Sunday, 12pm to 4pm, staff and animal well-being permitting!
