Meet Casper !

This big, sweet boy came to us after his person passed away. Understandably, he was very sad and shut down, but with time has come out of his shell and is learning that there is still lots of fun in the world. Now he loves nothing more than being nearby, getting head and chin scratches and using you as a pillow when he can.

He has excellent house manners, doesn’t cling, beg or mess things up as he is past his kitten gremlin stage. But for a boy his size, he can move surprisingly fast if he wants to. And now after waking up some long unused muscles, he loves playing with toys and especially playing with you AND his toys.

A quieter home without small children would be ideal for Casper. This shy boy would love someone patient and devoted to continuing the progress made in his weight loss journey, maintaining his diet plan and who will see that he gets the play and exercise he needs to be his best. He shows his gratitude with gentle kisses, head butts, love nibbles and tiny bird-like caws. Also, his fur is thick and ridiculously soft.
