Meet Sarah!

Sarah is a sweet and gentle cat. She’s still getting use to her surroundings but has opened up very quickly. She purrs the second you start petting her. She loves sleeping the day away, usually snoozing in hideaway tent or on a soft bed. She’ll come out for a quick pet and treat then retreat back to her napping. She loves temptation treats, will come running just at the sound of the bag opening! She’s more of a night owl, will do all her exploring and socializing once the sun goes down but doesn’t make a peep so won’t keep you up at night. She also loves to be brushed, watch bird videos on the tv or watch out the window.

When she’s really relaxed, she even loves a good belly rub! She’s not big on toys but saw her carrying a mouse stuffy in her mouth and bringing it on to her bed ??

She may retreat to hiding with loud sounds or quick movements but comes back out quickly once coast is clear. Her ideal home would be a quieter household but likely would do well in any home.

She is comfortable with being picked up, but doesn’t like to be held for long. She’ll kindly tap you with her paw when it’s time to put her down.

She can be a bit of a picky eater but often likes to eat with company ,social eater.

To arrange a to meet her you will need to reach out to us to set up a day and time as she is currently in a foster home.

You can call the branch at 250-248-3811 or email at parksville@spca.bc.ca
