Meet Chad Bonded Brad
Two Big thumbs way up for Brad and Chad!
Chad is polydactyl which means he has an extra digit on each front paw. This little fella forever looks like he is sporting a pair of oven mitts and we just can’t get over how pawsitively cute he is!
These sweet and sensitive boys have had a difficult start to life. Found abandoned in a house with several other cats, Brad and Chad were emaciated, covered in wounds from parasite overload and were terrified of humans.
Fortunately, with the help of churru and delicious snacks, this purrfect pair have made great improvements since coming into care.
Sadly, these two had to be separated during treatments, but since their reunion, it has become abundantly clear how much they love each other. Brad and Chad love to compete for the title of ‘heaviest headbutt’, and will shower those patient enough (or with the best babytalk) with endless affection. They are both quite shy and would benefit from continued socialization and desensitization with touch. They love long strokes across their cheeks and down their backs, and would make excellent companions to an adult only home with no dogs. They would likely get along with another cat in the home.
Due to their excitability when presented to one another, we are looking for a home together where they can continue to grow their bond with both humans and one another.
If you’d like to learn more about these bashful brothers, stop by the West Vancouver shelter between 12pm-3pm Tuesday-Sunday, or send in an application today!
