It is very important to make sure that Sophie stays on her diet to help maintain her weight. Especially as an older cat, extra weight will put strain on her joints and may cause pain and lack of mobility. Sophie has stage one kidney disease so diet will be a very important part of her care as well as careful monitoring along with your trusted vet.
