Meet Bobu!

Bobu is a gentle and affectionate dog who came into our care when her previous owner could no longer care for her. This big, sweet girl loves being around people but also appreciates having her own space. Given her size, she will need a home with enough space for her to roam comfortably. Bobu will need training to manage her resource guarding with food and treats with humans.

Bobu has food allergies that require a limited ingredient diet, and medicated baths for skin irritation. To help manage her flare ups of itchy skin, Bobu is currently on allergy medication.

Bobu would strive in a home without other dogs. There is potential for her to have doggy friends outside of the home.

Bobu is a loving and resilient dog who deserves a caring home where she can get the support she needs to thrive. 🐾❤️

Do you think you could be Bobu’s person? Here are some ways to find out:

1.) Visit our centre to meet this pet during adoption viewings Friday to Wednesday noon to 3pm, learn more about their ideal match, and apply to adopt in person; or

2.) Submit an online application adopt.spca.bc.ca and staff will contact the first suitable adopter to set-up a visit! Kindly note that due to the high number of applications and the availability of walk-in adoptions an online applicant would have to be available to come in for a meet within 24 hrs.
