Meet Pluto
Meet Pluto, a resilient Lionhead rabbit who has been through so much and is ready for a fresh start. After being abandoned by her previous owner, Pluto came into our care through our Animal Protection Services Department. She spent years confined to a poor-quality hutch, where boredom led to cage biting, leaving her with square indents in her teeth. Thankfully, with a proper diet and a free-roam lifestyle, her teeth will naturally improve over time.
Pluto is spayed, vaccinated, and otherwise healthy, but she’s had some tough experiences with her previous bonded mate, resulting in a few wounds. Because of this, we’re unsure if she’s ready to share her space with another rabbit. What Pluto truly needs now is a loving forever home where she’ll be treated as a cherished family member, never having to fend for herself again.
**Rabbits are often rehomed when kids lose interest, leaving parents feeling that their pets aren’t receiving enough care and attention. To prevent this, we’re looking for an adult-only home with no young children, where Pluto can thrive in a dedicated and loving environment.**
To begin the adoption process for our small animals, please fill out the pre-adoption questionnaire below. Be as detailed as possible, and keep in mind that an enclosure photo will be required after we receive your form submission.
