Meet Daisy
Meet Daisy, our new sweetheart!
Daisy joined us through our Drives for Lives transfer program from up North. She came into our care because her previous guardians couldn’t provide he time and attention she deserved. Left alone in the yard for long periods, Daisy often escaped and roamed.
Daisy-Do is as lovely as she is beautiful – who could resist those golden eyes? She knows how to sit and shake a paw, and she adores long, adventurous walks where she can sniff to her hearts content. She walks wonderfully on a leash and has been excellent with harness training. Like humans, Daisy is not a fan of every single dog she meets, but she has had canine friends before and would benefit from slow introductions in her future home. Daisy absolutely loves human attention and she very much enjoys being brushed.
Lazy-Daisy is a real couch potato! She’d likely do well in either a house or an apartment. Although she is picky about food and treats, she LOVES puzzle feeders filled with peanut butter! Daisy is gentle, patient and obedient – truly an angel! While she is generally quiet while lazily lounging in her kennel, she will howl and bark with excitement when she sees you and wants your attention.
Due to her prey drive, Daisy should not live with small animals or cats. She’s a sweetheart who is eager to please and loves getting attention from staff and volunteers. As she is new to us, we’re still learning more about her each day!
