Meet Phyllis: Our Shelter’s Wisest Cat!

Are you looking for a calm, seasoned companion who knows her way around an office… or at least a cozy corner of your home?

This lovely lady is the backbone of any room she graces. She’s not flashy, but her presence is comforting, and her love is enduring. Phyllis enjoys a peaceful environment where she can relax in her favorite sunbeam, or the coziest bed around. With her wise, knowing eyes, she’ll make you feel like you’re the most important person in the world.

Phyllis is past her kitten days and prefers the finer things in life: soft beds, gentle pets, and long, uninterrupted naps. She’s not one for drama (unless it involves a bit of catnip) and would thrive in a home where she can be a steady & loyal best friend who’s always there when you need her. She has been through a whirlwind of changes over the past 9 years and is looking for her retirement home where she can settle down and put her trust in her final, forever guardian.

Phyllis has been diagnosed with very early stage kidney disease, which is not uncommon for cats of her age. Not to worry though! This is easily managed with a special diet and supplements! Additionally, she has expressed that she would like to be the only fur baby in the home & the sole receiver of pets and affection.
