Meet Sigi!

She is a sweet 1 1/2 year old German Shepherd. Sigi was surrendered along with her cute litter of 10 week old puppies. Now that she is done nursing and her puppies have left, she’s excited to meet her forever family and settle into the life of a family pet and companion!

Sigi is a beautiful girl who’s well mannered. She is very smart and knows basic commands like sit, stay and shake a paw. She is the perfect dog for adventures outside and walks in the park or cuddles on the couch. She will be a loyal friend, who is quick to learn new tricks and eager to please.

Sigi is dog selective and, while she can make friends with some dogs, she does not get along with dogs who are assertive or play roughly. If you’re looking or a dog to go to the dog park with, she’s probably not the one for you! She is not suitable for a home with young children as she can be overstimulated by lots of loud noises and activity and becomes quite jumpy and mouthy.

PLEASE NOTE: This dog is located on the Sunshine Coast and travel via BC Ferries is required to adopt. Appointments are preferred to adopt one of our animals. Please speak with shelter staff prior to visiting our branch.
