Meet Rapunzel

Add to favourites

Meet Rapunzel! This cutie came to the SPCA with her best friend Merida, and now they are both looking for their fur-ever homes. These young bunnies are quite the pair; they would love to find a home together, but can go to home separately if it is the right fit. They are fairly curious and outgoing around people, however adopters will need to be prepared to continue working on getting them comfortable with lots of handling and brushing as they may still be a bit shy.

Rapunzel is a cute Flemish giant cross looking to be spoiled by a rabbit lover. These two both have a fairly friendly disposition and may be able to live with rabbit savvy kids and other animals with proper, slow introductions and socialization to handling. They will make great additions to any family and may be good with kids who are aware of proper rabbit husbandry. Adopters must show knowledge of the special diet, housing, and care required for rabbits.

Merida and Rapunzel aren’t quite ready to be adopted yet, as they are waiting for their Spay procedures, however Foster-With-Intent may be an option for adopters while they await their appointments. Ask staff for more information.

If this bunny sounds like the girl for you, please fill out an application through the link below and provide photos of your intended set up to

A behaviour counselling session with our Adoption Staff is necessary before adopting any animal.
