Meet Fennel

Add to favourites

Fennel is a shy and reserved guinea pig who prefers to hide in his cozy den. He is still adjusting to his new environment and is taking his time to get used to new people. Fennel is gentle and sweet, showing a lot of potential to bond closely with his human companions once he becomes more comfortable.

Fennel was previously living with his brother, with whom he shared a close bond. Unfortunately, his brother passed away, leaving Fennel in need of a new companion. This has made his transition to our centre more challenging, as he is currently adjusting to life without his sibling.

Fennel is looking for a loving and patient family that can help him come out of his shell. He would do well in a quiet home environment where he can have plenty of space to explore and hide when he feels overwhelmed. Fennel would also benefit from having a guinea pig companion to help him feel more secure and supported.

Fennel is a sweet and gentle guinea pig who is looking for a patient and loving family to call his own. With the right care and attention, he has the potential to become a wonderful companion and bring joy to his new home.

Do you think you could be Fennel’s person? Here are some ways to find out:

1.) Visit our centre to meet this pet during adoption viewings Friday to Tuesday noon to 3pm, learn more about their ideal match, and apply to adopt in person; or

2.) Submit an online application adopt.spca.bc.ca and staff will contact the first suitable adopter to set-up a visit! Kindly note that due to the high number of applications and the availability of walk-in adoptions an online applicant would have to be available to come in for a meet within 24 hrs.
