Meet Oscar

Add to favourites

Hi there! My name is Oscar and I’m looking for a quiet ‘furever’ home, preferably with another feline friend who can continue to help me build my confidence. I came to the SPCA as a stray and found the shelter a scary place at first. There were so many new noises, smells and faces that I was too overwhelmed to be myself! I went into a foster home with two other feline friends, where I quickly decompressed. Some of my favourite things are tube treats, playing with wand toys, and playing tag with other cats. Now that I’ve figured out humans are not so scary after all, I can’t get enough of pets! Once you’ve given me some time to trust you, I like to snuggle in close and give headbutts to remind you to give me more pets. I’ve become much more confident back at the shelter now, but I miss being in a home and can’t wait to find my forever place. It will take me a little bit of time to settle into my new home and I’m looking for ‘pawrents’ who will be patient with me as I continue to build my confidence. Can you provide a home for me?

Do you think you could be Oscar’s person? Here are some ways to find out:
