Meet Myrtle
Meet Myrtle the turtle!
Myrtle found her way to us after not being cared for properly, but is now ready to start looking for her new forever home! Myrtle is a little shy, and can usually be found hanging out in her favourite hiding spot. She absolutely loves feeding time and you’ll see her zipping around gobbling up her special turtle pellets. Shelly will need an enclosure where she can swim and dive, with the perfect rock to sunbathe on. If you’re looking for a unique pal to share your home, Myrtle is your gal! Please read the below before contacting the centre to arrange a meet.
Please note the BCSPCA has strict policies in place regarding the adoption and housing of exotic animals. These include some of the following non-negotiable must haves for homes to be considered for adoption:
-Myrtle is looking for an experienced guardian who has knowledge about the unique husbandry needs of Turtles.
-Myrtle likes to explore, swim and dive. Like all reptiles, she will require a large, stimulating enclosure to ensure she is physically and mentally stimulated. Photos and measurements of the enclosure will be required prior to a meet and greet being made.
