“Hello, it’s me, Valentina.”

Valentina is a dazzling lovebird who was fondly named after the fabulous drag queen from RuPaul’s Drag Race, Valentina! She came to us through the amazing folks at ROAM, but despite their best efforts, no owner was found.

While this bird’s true sex remains a mystery, her sassy cage-guarding and nesting behaviors suggest a fierce and fabulous personality of a female lovebird. Though, sex cannot be fully determined without an official DNA test, or by waiting to see if eggs are produced.

She is somewhat hand-tame, and will step up on your finger no problem. Valentina has a slight fear of hands, and will not let you touch her. She will need to learn that hands aren’t as scary as they seem.

Valentina’s heart longs for a loving home filled with other lovebirds, as she thrives on the company of her feathered friends. Her new home has to allow her to have free-flying time for most of the day, as she does not like being in a cage.

We’re searching for an experienced owner who can work their magic and help her find a feathery companion or two. Whether you’re a seasoned lovebird enthusiast or ready to put in the effort to create a lasting bond, Valentina is looking for a forever home where love and glamour reign supreme.
