Knox came into the BC SPCA after being found with his brother, Bruno, as strays. He previously had very little contact with humans and was wild when he first came in. He was very frightened and just wanted to hide or run away. Knox went into a foster home to learn how nice people can be and get over his fears. He has made lots of progress and now purrs a lot and often meows for attention and pets. He loves pets and scratches now! Knox will need a guardian who can continue to give him the time, love, and patience he needs to reach his full potential. He does tend to hide when there are sudden or loud movements but he has come to enjoy attention and loves to play. When playing, Knox is all business an prefers to focus on the task at hand, rather than pets. He loves anything and everything when it comes to toys. Knox is looking for a quiet home with cat savvy guardians who can offer him the love and patience he needs to thrive. A home without young children would be best but Knox really needs another cat in the home and will require a lot of attention. He can become vocal when scared and cry if he isn’t receiving proper reassurance and feelings of security.
