Meet Astro!
He was a recent surrender and is looking for a forever home. Astro is quite shy but with patience and gentle handling we believe he will become a great companion. Astro likes having lots of hidey holes to run into while he is exploring his space. Guinea pigs are social creatures and do best having a friend to keep them company – with a slow introduction Astro may thrive with a friend.
Do you think you could be Astro’s person? Here are some ways to find out:
1. Visit our center to meet this pet during viewing hours at 3202 Norland Ave, learn more about their ideal match and apply to adopt in person; or
2. Submit an online application adopt.spca.bc.ca and staff will contact the first suitable adopter to set-up a visit! Kindly note that due to the high number of applications and the availability of walk-in adoptions, an online applicant would have to be available to come in for a meet within 24 hrs.

*Fees vary by location and are subject to change without notice. Adoption fees are subject to PST (Provincial Sales Tax), which will be added at the time of adoption.
All BC SPCA cat/kitten/dog/puppy/rabbit adoptions include a microchip and lifetime registration with the BC Pet Registry.
Registration for lifetime protection is $45 for cats/kittens/dogs/puppies and $11.25 for rabbits, which will be added to the adoption fee. For more information please visit bcpetregistry.ca
