Meet Stanley, a big and handsome boy who’s ready to embark on a new chapter of his life. Stanley’s journey has been a unique one, as he spent most of his life outdoors. As a result, he’s still adjusting to the indoor world and has some reservations about smooth flooring. He’s looking for a loving family who can help him overcome this fear and provide the patience and guidance he needs. Stanley is a sweet soul once he builds trust with humans. It may take some time for him to open up, but the reward of his affection is well worth the wait. He thrives in a calm and quiet environment, so he’s seeking a home that can offer him tranquility and security. This playful boy loves to have fun, but his size makes him better suited for a home without small children. Although he seems curious about other dogs, we haven’t introduced him to them yet, so his compatibility with canine companions is still uncertain. Additionally, his interaction with small animals is unknown.

1.) Visit our centre to meet this pet during adoption viewings Friday to Tuesday noon to 3pm, learn more about their ideal match, and apply to adopt in person; or

2.) Submit an online application adopt.spca.bc.ca and staff will contact the first suitable adopter to set-up a visit! Kindly note that due to the high number of applications and the availability of walk-in adoptions an online applicant would have to be available to come in for a meet within 24 hrs.
