Are you ready to add a touch of sweetness to your life? Introducing Marzipan (the chin scratch-adoring explorer)! She is recovering from dental surgery but should be ready for her new home soon.

Marzipan is a curious adventurer who loves to explore and climb! She can be shy at first, and will need time to acclimatize to her new home, but with her charming personality, she’ll quickly win your heart. She adores chin scratches and delights in the warmth of your gentle petting. With your love and care, Marzipan is sure to flourish into the amazing cat she was meant to be!

Although once very close, Marzipan and Wonder seem to have drifted apart in their previous home, and may not be adoptable together. We are monitoring their interactions closely as there is still a possibility they might get along. Regardless, each are looking for a quiet, patient, and loving home where they can live out the remainder of their days.

Please note that Marzipan and Wonder are carriers of calicivirus (FCV), an upper respiratory condition. Although it’s not life-threatening, it is highly contagious to other cats during flare-ups. For this reason, they must either be adopted together or be the sole feline of the household. This will ensure their health and happiness while minimizing any potential risk to other cats.

Visit the BC SPCA Victoria Center to potentially view this pet and apply to adopt in person; OR

Submit an online application and staff will contact the first suitable adopter to set-up a visit.

The Victoria Center is open for in-person adoption viewings Tuesday – Saturday, 12pm – 4pm. *Staff and animal well-being permitting!*​

Animals cannot be held for potential adopters for more than 24 hours without a legitimate reason.
